Juniper Clinic Limited
Terms and Conditions
Last updated 1 November 2026
About these terms
These terms apply to every 1:1 appointment you book with Juniper Clinic, whether you see us in clinic or online. By booking an appointment, you agree to them.
We’ve kept them as short and plain as we can. If anything isn’t clear, email us at hello@juniperclinic.co.uk before you book.
Who we are
Juniper Clinic is run by Juniper Clinic Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13304582).
-
→Clinic: 30A London Road, Stockton Heath, Warrington WA4 6HN
-
→Registered office: 1 Halton Station Road, Sutton Weaver, Runcorn WA7 3EL
-
→Email: hello@juniperclinic.co.uk
Juniper Clinic provides the clinic premises and the booking system. Our director, Kate Jackson, treats clients through Juniper Clinic Limited. All our other practitioners are self employed. Every practitioner is qualified, holds professional insurance and is registered with their own professional body. Whoever you see, these terms apply to your appointment.
Booking and deposits
A deposit is taken when you book, and it secures your appointment time. The deposit comes off the price of that appointment.
-
→You can book online through our booking system, Ovatu, or by emailing hello@juniperclinic.co.uk. Online deposits are taken securely by card through Stripe.
-
→Your appointment is confirmed once the deposit has been paid.
-
→We’ll email you a confirmation with the date, time and whether it’s in clinic or online. Please check it and let us know straight away if anything is wrong.
Free discovery calls
Our discovery calls are free and there’s no obligation to book. They’re a chat about whether Juniper is right for you, not a consultation or medical advice.
Couples appointments
For appointments booked for 2 people, such as Both on Board, the same 72 hour policy applies. If only one partner can attend, please let us know. With more than 72 hours’ notice, you can move the appointment to a time that suits you both.
Cancelling or moving your appointment
You can cancel or move your appointment for free if you give us more than 72 hours’ notice. Inside 72 hours, your deposit is kept.
-
→More than 72 hours before your appointment: move it or cancel it. Your deposit is moved to the new appointment, or refunded if you cancel.
-
→Less than 72 hours before your appointment: your deposit is kept, whether you cancel or move it.
This applies whatever the reason, including illness, going into labour or an accident. We keep the deposit because we usually can’t fill a slot at such short notice, and your practitioner has set that time aside for you.
To cancel or move, use the link in your confirmation email or email hello@juniperclinic.co.uk. The time we receive your message is the time we go by.
If we ever need to cancel or move your appointment, we’ll give you as much notice as we can. You can choose a new time or have your deposit refunded in full.
Your 14 day right to cancel
If you book online or by email, UK consumer law gives you 14 days to change your mind. If your appointment falls within those 14 days, booking it means you’re asking us to start within that period, so the 72 hour policy above applies. If you cancel more than 72 hours before your appointment, your deposit is refunded as normal.
Late arrivals and missed appointments
If you’re running late, let us know as soon as you can. Your appointment will still finish at its booked time, so you’ll have less time with your practitioner, and the full fee still applies.
If you’re more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to see you. This counts as a missed appointment.
If you miss your appointment, your deposit is kept.
In clinic and online appointments
The same booking, cancellation and payment terms apply to both.
In clinic
-
→Please arrive a few minutes early, especially for your first visit.
-
→Please don’t come in if you’re unwell with anything infectious. Let us know as soon as you can and we’ll find you a new time. The 72 hour policy still applies.
-
→Some treatments aren’t suitable at certain times, for example during early pregnancy or after some medical procedures. Your practitioner will talk this through with you.
Online
-
→Online appointments are by video or phone. We’ll send you the details before your appointment.
-
→Please find a quiet, private space and check your internet connection beforehand.
-
→If the connection drops, we’ll try to reconnect or call you. If we can’t continue because of a problem on our side, we’ll rebook the rest of your time for free.
-
→Online appointments can’t include hands on treatment such as acupuncture or massage.
-
→We don’t record appointments, and we ask that you don’t either, unless we’ve both agreed to it.
Payments and packages
The balance of your appointment fee is due at or before your appointment. You can pay online by card through Stripe when you book with Ovatu, or in clinic by card through Zettle or PayPal. Prices are shown on our website and booking page, and may change from time to time. Any price change won’t affect an appointment you’ve already booked.
Blood tests, supplements, herbs and any outside services we refer you to are paid for separately. We’ll always tell you the cost before you commit.
Packages
Packages must be used within 6 months of the date you buy them. Any sessions left after 6 months expire and aren’t refunded. The same 72 hour cancellation policy applies to each appointment in a package. A late cancellation or missed appointment uses up 1 session from your package.
Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers must be used within 6 months of the date they’re bought. They can’t be exchanged for cash or refunded, and these terms apply to any appointment booked with one.
Your health and our care
Our treatments are complementary. They’re designed to work alongside your GP, consultant or fertility clinic, not to replace them.
-
→We can’t guarantee any particular result, including pregnancy. Everyone responds differently, and fertility depends on many factors outside our control.
-
→Please tell us about any medical conditions, medications, pregnancy or recent procedures, and let us know if anything changes. This keeps your treatment safe.
-
→If we think something needs medical investigation, we’ll tell you and suggest you see your GP or specialist.
-
→Don’t stop or change any prescribed medication or treatment plan without speaking to the doctor who prescribed it.
-
→If you have a medical emergency, call 999 or go to A&E. We can’t provide urgent or emergency care.
Consent to treatment
-
→Before your first appointment, we’ll ask you to complete a health questionnaire and consent form. Please answer fully and tell us if anything changes.
-
→Your practitioner will explain your treatment before starting. You can ask questions, decline any part of it, or stop at any time.
-
→Your practitioner may adapt or decline treatment if they don’t think it’s safe or suitable for you.
Under 18s
We’re happy to see clients under 18. They must either come with a parent or guardian, or have written consent from a parent or guardian before their appointment.
Herbs, supplements and products
-
→Herbs prescribed for you are made up for you personally, so they can’t be returned or refunded.
-
→Opened supplements and products can’t be returned. Unopened items in their original condition can be returned within 14 days for a refund.
-
→Take herbs and supplements exactly as advised, and tell your GP or consultant what you’re taking.
-
→If you notice any side effects, stop taking them and contact us straight away. If symptoms are severe, get medical help.
Bloodwork reviews
-
→Blood tests are carried out by an outside laboratory, which has its own terms.
-
→Our review looks at your results alongside your symptoms and history to guide your care. It isn’t a medical diagnosis.
-
→If anything in your results needs medical attention, we’ll tell you and recommend you see your GP. Please act on this promptly.
Your information
We keep your health information confidential and handle it in line with UK data protection law. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
Photos and testimonials
We’ll never share your story, photos, results or anything that could identify you without your written permission. You can withdraw that permission at any time.
Contact between appointments
You’re welcome to email us between appointments at hello@juniperclinic.co.uk and we’ll get back to you. Our inbox isn’t monitored for urgent matters. If you need urgent medical help, call 111, or 999 in an emergency.
Respect and safety
We want Juniper to feel safe and welcoming for everyone. We may end an appointment, or decline to book future ones, if anyone is abusive, threatening or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In that case your deposit or fee isn’t refunded.
Our liability
If you see Kate Jackson, your treatment is provided by Juniper Clinic Limited, which is responsible for it and holds professional insurance.
If you see any of our other practitioners, your treatment is provided by that practitioner. They’re self employed, responsible for the care and advice they give you, and hold their own professional indemnity insurance. For these appointments, Juniper Clinic Limited provides the premises and booking system, and is responsible for those only.
Neither Juniper Clinic nor your practitioner can guarantee treatment results, and neither is responsible for losses that couldn’t reasonably have been foreseen, such as travel costs or time off work. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else the law doesn’t allow to be limited.
Complaints
For complaints, please contact hello@juniperclinic.co.uk.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you book is the one that applies to that appointment.
